Our 2009 camp season was full of exciting learning experiences, musical adventures and sports challenges all held on the beautiful Concordia College Campus in Bronxville, NY! We are currently in the process of designing our new programs for 2010. The following programs will be offered:
Musical Adventures Mini-Camp is held in the spacious and historic Concordia Conservatory. This program is for children 3-5 years old. Young campers will love the interactive music, art, and story-telling activities as well as indoor and outdoor play!
The Early Childhood Enrichment Program, is for campers 3-5 years old. This program offers a variety of fun and creative learning experiences with music, art, science and literacy, all following an imaginative theme. Children love the sprinkler fun, which is part of the outdoor play! All activities are held at the beautiful Concordia Conservatory.
The Early Childhood Sports Camp is for campers 3 1/2 - 5 yeas old. Young campers have a great time playing t-ball, soccer, mini-field hockey, parachute games, races and much more! They are well-supervised in an air-conditioned gym and on the enclosed lawn of the Concordia Conservatory.
Morning Enrichment Camp gives campers, grades 1-9, a variety of stimulating and dynamic classes to enjoy such as: Lego Robotics, rocketry, cartooning, art, cooking, travel, science, crafts, computers and much more! All classes are held in college classrooms and taught by teachers.
The Concordia Conservatory encourages children ages 3 to 18 years old to enhance their musical interests through Musical Adventures, Musical Theatre Workshop, Piano, Guitar Jam, Chamber Music, Vocal Arts and the Conservatory Summer Academy Camps. We also offer Conga! early childhood music classes for ages 11 months - 3 1/2 years old and private instruction in all instruments for all ages.
The Afternoon Sports Program is for campers grades 1-8 offers campers a wide spectrum of team sports, utilizing the professional athletic fields and gyms of Concordia College! Our Sports Program includes: tennis, soccer, baseball, softball, basketball, martial arts and much more! An optional swimming program is available.
Day Trips Adventure Camp! for campers grades 2-8. This exciting program will explore fun and educational venues in the metropolitan area! Some of the places we will visit are: The Intrepid Air & Space Museum, Sportime USA, The Yankee Stadium, The Norwalk Aquarium, NYC Duck Tours, Campers will be well supervised from 9:00am-4:00pm, lunch and snacks will be provided; transportation and admissions are included in the cost!
